Permanent immigration pilot program for workers in the artificial intelligence, information technologies and visual effects sectors

The permanent immigration pilot program for workers in the artificial intelligence, information technology and visual effects sectors is intended for temporary foreign workers or Quebec graduates in artificial intelligence as well as foreign workers from information technologies and visual effects to settle permanently in Quebec.
Applicants considering applying under the Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Visual Effects Workers Permanent Immigration Pilot Program Stream must meet all program requirements:
• Have the intention of settling in Quebec to hold a job
• Be 18 or older,
• Have legal status in Quebec
• Capacity for financial autonomy
Applicants wishing to apply under the Artificial Intelligence Stream must meet the following additional requirements:
• Have a diploma corresponding at least to a Quebec bachelor’s degree
• Have acquired work experience in Quebec or abroad in a level 0, A or B job according to the National Occupational Classification
Or
• Have a diploma that corresponds at least to a master’s degree or a doctorate from Quebec in the 12 months preceding the presentation of the application
• Hold or have accepted full-time employment in Quebec in the artificial intelligence sector with a gross annual salary of at least $75,000 if your employer is established outside the territory of the Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM) or at least $100,000 if established in the CMM.
Applicants wishing to apply under the Quebec Graduate Stream must meet the following additional requirements:• Have stayed in Quebec for the main purpose of studying there, for at least half of your study program
• Have obtained a university degree issued by an educational institution in Quebec during the 24 months preceding the presentation of the application, which certifies:
o Specialized higher education (DESS)
o Mastery
o Doctorate.
• Hold a specialized higher education diploma (DESS), must have held a full-time job in Quebec at level 0, A or B according to the National Occupational Classification (CNP) for a period of at least 6 months during the 12 months following the date of the end of the study program.
• Hold or have accepted a full-time job in Quebec in the artificial intelligence sector and for which your skills profile allows you to meet the requirements.
Applicants wishing to apply under the Information Technology and Visual Effects Stream must meet the following additional requirements:
• Hold a diploma that corresponds at least to a technical college diploma from Quebec or a bachelor’s degree from Quebec
• Have held eligible full-time employment in Québec and abroad for a period of at least 24 months during the 60 months preceding the application for permanent selection.
• Hold or have accepted an eligible full-time job in Québec whose hourly wage is equivalent to the maximum salary or higher than the average salary for your profession, or to the 9th decile of the salary for your profession according to Emploi Québec.
